Latest C & E seminar for educators highlights 21st century learning methods
C & E Publishing, Inc. tackled the latest trends in instructional delivery methods during the International Learning Program Day, a seminar for educators held at the C & E Information and Resource Center in Quezon City last March 1.
With the theme “Learning Locally, Competing Globally: New Strategies for Better Curriculum Instruction,” the seminar highlighted various effective approaches used in other countries in teaching mathematics, science, and English. These strategies have shown to improve the level and quality of student-teacher engagement.

Workshops were held after the lecture. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt regional sales manager for Asia-Pacific William Packard, University of the Philippines Diliman College of Education instructor Lizamarie Campoamor-Olegario, and McGraw-Hill–Education English Language Learners consultant Alan Davis facilitated the workshops for mathematics, science, and English, respectively.
The seminar was co-presented by Power Mac Center, Samsung, McGraw-Hill–Education, Cengage Learning, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Singapore Asia Publishers, KITE E-Learning Solutions, Inc., and myON. It attracted more than 70 administrators, information technology advisers, and faculty members from 35 international, local private, and specialized public high schools nationwide.
