C & E Foundation, Inc. (CEFI), in partnership with Fairplay for All Foundation (FFA), shared a fun-filled day with the Payatas Football Club (FC) last January 21 at the Payatas Sports Center in Quezon City. Payatas FC is FFA’s football team for the children of Payatas.

Volunteer employees of the C & E Group of Companies joined the Payatas FC in a friendly football game after their training facilitated by FFA’s executive director Roy Moore and members Zargy Zarraga, Christelle Reganion, Jose Paolo Dela Cruz, and Dhong Paclibar. In the afternoon, the volunteers were treated to a lunch buffet prepared by Joan Otagan and Vicky Velazquez of the Fairplay Cafe. CEFI also distributed packs of local delicacies and gift bags to the children.

The community day project is part of CEFI’s annual C & E Christmas Outreach Campaign which aims to bring the spirit of the holiday season to underprivileged children through exciting educational activities and book donations to their community libraries.

FFA is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit group working in the community of Payatas, one of the largest and poorest slums in the Philippines and home to the country’s largest dumpsite and to half a million Filipinos.
