CE-Logic, Inc. awards research grant to the association of academic and research librarians

CE-Logic, Inc. awarded a research grant to the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL) last January 31 at the Rizal Library of the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City during the PAARL General Assembly and Awarding ceremony.

PAARL is an association of academic and research librarians in the Philippines that upholds the profession of academic and research librarianship in the country. It has provided leadership in the development and growth of library and information services in the country since 1973.

Dr. Fernan R. Dizon, PAARL's outgoing president, and Dr. Engracia S. Santos, PAARL's newly elected president, personally received the cheque from Myla Stephanie Villarosa, Senior Sales Manager of CE-Logic. The grant will support PAARL's research projects in 2020, which will be published in their annual PAARL Research Journal (PRJ).

This is the third consecutive year that CE-Logic supported PAARL's research projects as part of the company's commitment to promoting academic and professional excellence. Through research funding, PAARL aims to encourage librarians to pursue research work that will contribute to academic and research librarianship and library development in the Philippines.
