C & E Educational Solutions Group teamed up with international e-learning solutions companies for a featured learning activity for the participants of the 2017 Philippine Education Conference (PEC) held on November 28 and 29, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

C & E’s partners for the activity were J2e, an educational software company based in the United Kingdom; Koobits, a Singaporean digital tool and platform developer specializing in mathematics for elementary grades; myOn, an award-winning provider of personalized literacy tools based in Minnesota, USA; and NUADU, a Polish educational solutions provider specializing in integrated assessments and analytics.

Titled “360@60: The 21st-Century Classroom in Focus,” the joint activity was rooted in C & E Educational Solutions Group’s thrust towards 21st-century education. It served as a one-stop shop for exciting applications and tools that highlighted emerging technologies in education to help participants determine which learning solutions address their school’s specific needs and make 21st-century learning work for their institution. 360@60 featured six learning stations that allowed the educators to experience how learning solutions can transform classrooms through exciting hands-on sessions facilitated by the four international partners, C & E’s very own learning management system (LMS), KITE Academy, and C & E’s makerspace division, MakerCE.

Hosted by the Philippine Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), the 2017 PEC with the theme “Achieving the Promise of K to 12,” engaged educational leaders on Philippine education issues and concerns, particularly the implementation of the senior high school program and preparations for delivering the new curricula for contemporary needs. It provided educators with an opportunity to understand how educational trends and models of innovation contribute to achieving the goals of the K to 12 curriculum.

Jesus Lorenzo R. Mateo, Undersecretary for Planning and Field Operations of the Department of Education (DepED); Atty. Guiling A. Mamondiong, Director General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA); and Dr. Patricia B. Licuanan, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd), graced the 2017 PEC and provided an overview of the current state of Philippine education. More than 3,000 educators from private education institutions nationwide joined the conference.
